About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to DESIGNA customers
  • Ensure contract customer systems are operating at optimal performance levels
  • Perform service actions, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and systems
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with machinery and PARCS systems
  • Deliver high-quality customer service during all service interactions
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and testing of new PARCS systems
  • Support initial system setup in collaboration with network teams and system engineers
  • Ensure proper system functionality prior to customer handoff
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and routine service tasks
  • Conduct monthly Data PMs for contract customers in assigned regions
  • Apply system upgrades, patches, and updates as required
  • Provide basic training to customers on new and existing systems
  • Ensure customers understand proper equipment usage and system functionality
  • Maintain strong relationships to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Document all work performed and produce detailed service reports
  • Communicate effectively with Field Operations Managers, Supervisors, and technical teams
  • Coordinate scheduling and service activities with internal teams
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe and compliant manner
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in technical service, field service, or equipment maintenance
  • 5-7 years' experience in a Field technician/ Support role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to travel and perform onsite service work
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical environments, as well as System application or network systems preferred
