• Join a team of researchers specialized in generative models and deep learning.
• Oversee research process implementation, from problem definition to running and analyzing experiments.
• Collaborate and communicate status, results, and challenges with the team.
• Contribute to designing the research roadmap of the company.
• Train and mentor other team members.
• Own the research function of specific product features.
• Use deep learning (NLP, speech, vision, etc.) for media creation and editing.
• Create realistic voice doubles using only a few minutes of audio.
• Create tools to synthesize photo-realistic videos that match Overdub.
• Design and develop algorithms for media synthesis, anomaly detection, speech recognition, enhancement, filler word detection, audio/video tagging.
• Propose new research directions to improve product.

Staff Applied Research Scientist

Product Designer

• As a Product Designer, help leverage emerging technology to reimagine the experience of editing video and own end-to-end design of new and existing features in the generative/agentic space.
• Passion for creating novel experiences and collaborating closely with user research, product management, engineering, and other designers to achieve the right mix of novelty and usefulness.
• Strong systems design thinking: find the right fit for new features in an existing product and have strong intuition for when to push at system boundaries.
• Play a key role in a feature team, driving design decisions and collaborating with stakeholders and fellow designers to shape innovative video editing experiences.
• Set a high bar for craft, eye for detail, and deep empathy for users.
• Own the design process from concept through to execution.
• Bring clarity to broad and ambiguous problems, integrating user, business, and technical constraints through structured thinking and effective communication.
• Contribute to the definition and expansion of our design system.
• Collaborate deeply with diverse stakeholders (product management, engineers, designers, executives).
• Advocate for what you think is right; know when to disagree and commit.

Full-stack Engineer

• Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement designs from Figma
• Frontend engineering with web-standard media APIs, react components, and redux + sagas
• Cross-browser support with a web maximalist strategy, supported by native-augmentation in Electron
• Plan, ticket, and estimate projects with multi-team stakeholders and collaboration
