Support Engineer

• Lead and scale Technical Support organization by managing function-level performance, delivery quality, and team growth.
• Spend 70% of time leading and 30% as a hands-on engineer.
• Work closely with Project Management, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure customer sites are correctly deployed, optimized, and monitored.
• Oversee QA squad to ensure consistent validation and release quality gates.
• Monitor live systems for uptime, performance, and sensor health.
• Manage and mentor Squad Leads and their Support Engineer teams.
• Participate in engineering sprints to represent deployment and support needs.

Lead Software Engineer – Technical Support

Application Engineer

• Support on-site and remote deployment of our solutions across sensors, edge devices, and software platforms, including configuration, calibration, testing, and validation.
• Act as the technical point of contact during pilots, PoCs, and live implementations, owning technical execution end-to-end.
• Partner with the Project team to plan and run deployments: align scope, milestones, site readiness, risks, and action items, and provide clear status updates.
• Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and site constraints, and translate them into deployment and integration steps.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in the field, lead root cause analysis, and drive resolution with Engineering and Product.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Project teams to share field learnings, collect requirements, and highlight gaps for improvement.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, installation guides, and field reports to support repeatable deployments.
• Train customer teams and internal stakeholders when required.
• Provide input to pre-sales and post-sales when needed (demos, technical scoping, and RFP/RFI technical support).

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and key stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research

• Monitor and support in responding to relevant RFPs and RFIs
• Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
• Represent Derq at industry events, conferences, and public speaking engagements

Regional Sales Manager

Sales Engineer

• Provide pre-sales technical support to the Sales team, including solution design, technical documentation, and customer-facing materials.
• Lead technical discovery with prospects to understand requirements, constraints, and success criteria (public sector and commercial).
• Deliver product demos and technical presentations, clearly explaining Derq’s value and differentiators to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Own technical parts of proposals, including RFP/RFI responses, compliance questions, and clarifications.
• Gather and document technical requirements, system interfaces, integration approach, and deployment assumptions for handover to Projects and Engineering.
• Support pre-award planning by drafting initial scopes, timelines, and high-level budgets with the Project team, then ensure a clean transition post-award.
• Act as the technical point of contact for consultants, infrastructure partners, and technology partners during the sales cycle to drive adoption and integration opportunities.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date notes, opportunities, and technical details in the CRM to keep pipeline execution clean.
• Stay current on ITS and smart mobility trends (traffic management, road safety, AI analytics, funding programs) to inform solution positioning and proposals.
