About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the content product strategy and roadmap across content generation, accredited learning, and publications
  • Define architecture, quality gates, and clinical-accuracy thresholds for the content generation platform
  • Own the content model, taxonomy, metadata architecture, and shared content contract
  • Map the content estate within the first 90 days
  • Own accredited learning and publications product surfaces, including activity architecture, learning journeys, credit-claim flows, and journal submission and review workflows
  • Own product surfaces for embedded clinical tools and sponsor-facing digital assets, including partner evaluation and integration architecture
  • Build and scale the content operations function
  • Create new content products, prototype formats and tools, and present evidence-based recommendations to the CTDO
  • Defend roadmap and engineering-capacity tradeoffs to the executive team
  • Deliver derivative assets at volume with improving first-pass clinical accuracy
  • Ensure metadata quality supports personalization and audience reporting
  • Launch accredited activities and journal publications on schedule without manual intervention
  • Prevent unplanned breaking changes to the shared content contract
  • Scale the content engine into new specialty markets without linear headcount growth
  • Report to the Chief Digital, Technology & Data Officer (CTDO)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years in technical product management, content platforms, or digital publishing
  • End-to-end ownership of a content or learning platform at scale, including architecture and roadmap
  • Principal-level candidates: 10 or more years of experience
  • Ability to set standards adopted across teams and execute against a strategy
  • Deep content modeling, taxonomy, and metadata architecture experience on a headless CMS; Storyblok preferred
  • Production experience with LLM-powered content generation, including evaluation strategy, quality gates, and accuracy/cost tradeoffs
  • Learning management platform ownership, including activity architecture, learning paths, and credit or completion reporting; Docebo preferred
  • Experience in a regulated or accredited environment where editorial independence must be structurally preserved
  • ACCME familiarity is a differentiator
  • Experience building a function from zero, including defining roles, making build-versus-hire decisions, and growing capabilities
  • Comfort working in an AI-assisted development environment such as Claude Code or equivalent
  • Healthcare, medical education, or life sciences experience preferred
  • Experience building content capabilities that generalize across markets or specialty areas is a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
