About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform daily cash reconciliation and posting
Process and support accounts payable activities
Enter, review, and monitor credit card transactions and employee expense reports
Prepare and maintain various account reconciliations
Assist with month end and periodic financial reporting tasks
Provide direct administrative and accounting support to the Controller
Communicate professionally with external vendors and internal stakeholders as needed
Adhere to internal controls, policies, and reporting deadlines
Support additional accounting projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

MUST live near-- Fort Walton Beach, FL
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) strongly preferred.
Familiarity with accounting systems; QuickBooks Desktop experience is a strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is strongly preferred.
