About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own a product or functionality from conception through delivery across the full SDLC and AI-DLC, from discovery to release
- Develop initiatives, epics, and user stories, documenting detailed requirements and acceptance criteria
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in Jira
- Hold regular grooming sessions with development to maintain at least three sprints of ready backlog
- Collaborate with other teams to align dependent workstreams and ensure on-time execution
- Analyze the impact of initiatives on client satisfaction and business outcomes
- Communicate project status, risks, and resource requirements to stakeholders
- Maintain documentation of requirements, acceptance criteria, project plans, and progress reports
- Work independently to drive initiatives forward
- Validate developed functionality before presenting it to the broader organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of professional experience in product management
- Experience owning a product or service from conception through delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC & AI-DLC)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Strong understanding of capital markets and OTC derivatives, including interest rate, FX, and commodity derivatives
- Experience with Jira and active product backlog management and prioritization
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to articulate priorities and user impact to stakeholders
- Ability to multitask across concurrent projects
- Skill in documenting detailed requirements and acceptance criteria
- Proficiency in rapid prototyping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work remotely in the USA
