About the role

  • Effectively applies Derivative Path methodology and enforces implementation standards.
  • Execute project tasks integrating the derivative portfolios and business processes of clients into Derivative Path platforms.
  • Assist in driving full scope of system implementation activities, including gathering functional and technical requirements, designing solution, building interfaces and systems, completing testing cycles, delivering training, and deploying the final product deliverables.
  • Support configurations, train clients on technical solutions, and ensure quality of delivery and all deliverables, including process documentation and UAT scripts.
  • Support the client relationship from onboarding, implementation, and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Work closely and collaborate with the client success team on the analysis and resolution of client inquiries related to derivatives trading, Derivative Path platform usage, and client business processes.
  • Serve as a first response contact for both client and internal operations-related inquiries.
  • Provide support with/to Client Success team members as needed pre-during-post implementation.
  • Develop knowledge base documentation related to Derivative Path platforms and procedures.
  • Apply knowledge of Financial Derivative structures and elements – Vanilla/ Amortizing/Embedded/Structured Swaps, Cap/Floor, Swaptions with Derivative Path EDGE fin-tech and/or other Risk Management software for Derivative Path client onboarding and implementations.
  • Apply knowledge of Interest Rate, Foreign Exchange, Commodity asset classes as it pertains to transaction capture and the relevant economic details for Front, Middle, and Back Office processing and reporting.
  • Apply knowledge of Swaps Data Repository regulatory requirements and reporting with DTCC from a Bank and End User perspective.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate or Graduate degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in derivative capture, payment processing, or TMS implementation or similar work experience.
  • Background in finance and accounting, ideally with emphasis on capital markets.
  • Strong project management experience including workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, change management, engagement economics (profitability), and stakeholder communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex business concepts clearly and tactfully.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and projects simultaneously.
  • Comfort with data analysis and proficiency in productivity tools such as Excel.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, as needed.
