About the role
- Develop new business opportunities through customer facing meetings
- Build a sales pipeline of qualified opportunities within the mid market space
- Conduct detailed client analysis to understand their pain points, and quantify commercial impacts
- Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to senior stakeholders, tailoring the solution for each client
- Negotiate commercial terms and navigate the procurement process for complex sales engagements
- Become a subject matter expert for clients, advising them on key market trends and challenges, whilst differentiating Deputy from our competitors
- Identify and qualify new opportunities to sell core business applications and related services into the mid market
- Manage and drive sales opportunities through strategic selling to negotiation and closing
- Work with larger customers (above 250 employees) and collaborate with sales engineers and BDRs/SDRs
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in new business development in the SaaS space
- Experience selling software solutions into complex environments
- Proven ability to build a qualified sales pipeline
- Previously involved in territory planning and execution
- Advantageous if previously worked w BDR and mentored them to achieve sales goals
