About the role

  • Develop new business opportunities through customer facing meetings
  • Build a sales pipeline of qualified opportunities within the mid market space
  • Conduct detailed client analysis to understand their pain points, and quantify commercial impacts
  • Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to senior stakeholders, tailoring the solution for each client
  • Negotiate commercial terms and navigate the procurement process for complex sales engagements
  • Become a subject matter expert for clients, advising them on key market trends and challenges, whilst differentiating Deputy from our competitors
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities to sell core business applications and related services into the mid market
  • Manage and drive sales opportunities through strategic selling to negotiation and closing
  • Work with larger customers (above 250 employees) and collaborate with sales engineers and BDRs/SDRs

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in new business development in the SaaS space
  • Experience selling software solutions into complex environments
  • Proven ability to build a qualified sales pipeline
  • Previously involved in territory planning and execution
  • Advantageous if previously worked w BDR and mentored them to achieve sales goals
