About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Facility Manager in the daily operations of the service center
- Assume the responsibilities of the Facility Manager in their absence
- Ensure safety policies and procedures are adhered to by all employees
- Set schedules based on daily review of customer demand
- Ensure jobs are completed on time while maintaining appropriate quality
- Provide training to Shift Leaders and technicians
- Distribute, direct, and designate employee work
- Rectify problems or irregularities
- Monitor housekeeping in the cleaning area across all shifts
- Maintain working knowledge of the facility contingency plan
- Assist with RCRA residual management administration and supervision
- Control supplies, chemicals, cleaning agents, and utilities according to procedures
- Conduct waste and water management activities
- Resolve complaints, safety violations/accidents, work interruptions, and disciplinary or production problems
- Communicate with customers to ensure deadline compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months related experience, or a combination of higher education and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to resolve problems
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong math skills required
