About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Checking tanks as they are transported into and out of the facility to ensure that all defects and damages are noted for liability purposes
  • Ensure that the correct tanks are leaving the facility for transport, and to serve as a last quality control check prior to transport to the customer
  • Conduct walk-around inspections of tanks as they leave the facility to determine any defects or damages before the tank is delivered to the customer
  • Compares the tank numbers on customer work orders to the actual tank numbers to ensure that the correct tank is being delivered
  • Acts as the last step in the quality control process and will handle other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail to have the ability to perform high-quality inspections to note defects & damages
  • Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry
  • Basic computer knowledge (G-Suite knowledge preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
