About the role
- Greet and assist customers in identifying their parts needs
- Recommend and sell parts and accessories to meet customers' requirements
- Provide accurate product information and technical advice
- Process customer orders and handle transactions at the counter
- Maintain inventory and ensure availability of parts
- Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing parts in the warehouse
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to meet customer needs
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team
- Promptly and accurately complete all paperwork and handle tax certificates
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in a semi truck parts or an industrial industry
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and equipment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy
