About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Organize, develop (including preparing curriculum and materials) and coordinate specialized immigration trainings with identified staff of immigrant-serving community-based organizations (CBOs).
  • Organizing and lead regular convenings of identified CBO staff in order to facilitate information sharing and collaboration amongst immigrant serving organizations.
  • Engage with CBO staff to identify information gaps, training and mentoring needs and progress toward capacity building for complex representation.
  • Utilize the Clinic’s website, emails, and technology tools to facilitate work of the project.
  • Assist in preparing compliance reports for current Clinic donors. Conceptualize, develop, implement, and evaluate new strategies for providing efficient and effective assistance to CBOs that represent low-income refugees and immigrants.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS, and a minimum of five years experience with either low-income immigrant legal assistance projects, DOJ recognition and accreditation or related experience.
  • Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish, is preferred.
  • Candidate should be able to travel locally to CBO partner sites and be flexible in schedule to accommodate CBO partner requests for trainings.
