About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Human Resources (HR) Specialist is a key contributor to the HR Department, providing support across essential functions such as recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, HR information systems management, and personnel record auditing to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Contact and guide new hires through the onboarding process, complete background checks, and verify professional licenses.
  • Recruitment: Assist in maintaining the applicant tracking system and participate in interviews as assigned.
  • Human Resource Information Systems: Create and maintain employee records ensuring completion and accuracy of details.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Provide support during Open Enrollment and assist employees on benefits matters.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Complete monthly reviews, audits, and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Training & Development: Enter, update, and maintain training records in TalentLMS.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources, or related business field and two years of related experience is required.
  • A comparable combination of education and experience may be considered.
