About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the first point of contact for community members seeking non-emergency assistance.
- Answer a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
- Gather critical information and determine the appropriate city service or resource for each caller.
- Recognize emergency or crisis situations and immediately transfer callers to 9-1-1 when appropriate.
- Research information using multiple city systems and accurately document all interactions.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while helping residents navigate City and County services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need- Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
