About the role

  • You will be responsible for increasing annual revenue growth by proactively identifying, acquiring, and converting new business opportunities.
  • You will lead strategic initiatives for new client acquisition in alignment with the company’s growth targets for 2026 and beyond.
  • You will develop tailored account strategies to maximize customer value, cross‑ and up‑selling potential, and to improve overall account profitability.
  • You will act as a strategic advisor on media‑related topics, using deep market knowledge to support clients’ business objectives and to influence product and platform developments.
  • You will work closely with internal stakeholders from product, marketing, platform, and sales to translate market needs into effective solutions.
  • You will monitor competitive developments and dynamics in the media market to inform strategic decisions and secure a sustainable competitive advantage.
  • You will lead a small team (3–5 people) within the areas described above.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in business development, key account management, or strategic sales within a media‑related environment.
  • Demonstrable success in driving revenue growth and winning new corporate clients.
  • Extensive experience managing and developing high‑value accounts, ideally with global brands.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and to influence decision‑making at senior levels.
  • You thrive in remote and live pitches for new clients.
  • You are a communications professional and present confidently in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
