About the role
- Developing and delivering the people aspects of the business plan for the entity supported
- Providing strategic planning, direction, and support
- Executive coaching and acting as a key liaison on all HR processes
- Champing change initiatives and focusing on overall organizational effectiveness
- Consulting with line management, providing HR guidance and policy interpretation
- Maintaining knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management
- Partnering with legal and compliance teams to navigate immigration processes
- Championing employee engagement by identifying trends and developing programs
- Supporting the design and implementation of HR programs aligned with talent strategy
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Excellent people management skills
- Analytical and goal oriented
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
- Knowledge of labor legislation (US & Canada)
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
