About the role

  • Overseeing the development of complex web applications enabling great user experience and multi-channel strategies based on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS).

Requirements

  • Proven Experience with the AEM framework and the Adobe Experience Cloud
  • Very good knowledge of current web technologies (Java/J2EE) as well as experience with standard software frameworks (Spring)
  • Experience with AEM technologies (e.g. Apache Sling, Sling models, HTL/Sightly)
  • Knowledge in the areas of SQL, Apache Jackrabbit Oak, Web Services (SOA), XML, XSL, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX
  • Experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS), including: Content Fragments and their integration, GraphQL API usage and optimization, understanding of EDS architecture across various content sources, multi-site management capabilities within EDS
  • Knowledge of CDN strategies and Adobe EdgeWorkers
  • Good understanding of SEO best practices in the context of EDS and AEM
  • Experience in other Java-based CMS solutions, such as Magnolia, is a plus
  • Expertise in software architecture and technical design
  • Ability to drive architectural decisions, technology evaluations, and proof of concepts (PoCs) for client use cases and to translate complex business requirements into scalable AEM and Adobe Experience Cloud solutions
  • University or college degree in computer science or business computer science is a plus
  • Ability to provide technical leadership to development teams, including code reviews, mentorship, and guidance on scalable and maintainable solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong personal initiative and willingness to learn.
