About the role
- Implement corporate events that enhance client/guest experience
- Apply strategic marketing goals and implement in event execution
- Advise clients on event strategies and project plans
- Negotiate and troubleshoot with properties, venues and suppliers
- Support Global Engagement Manager with calls, agendas, and notes
- Plan and complete site surveys
- Prepare and manage line-item budgets
- Manage event branding, collateral, and on-site materials
- Determine food and beverage and other on-site amenities/experiences and oversee ordering and implementation
- Conduct onsite management of corporate hospitality events, focusing on sports and entertainment
- Manage on-site vendors and contractors; enforce policies during execution
- Create client-ready event itineraries, staffing plans, and event recaps
- Lead client conference calls and meetings and prepare communications and presentations
- Manage and communicate project status with manager, internal team and clients
- Identify opportunities for business growth and recommend new strategies
- Evaluate event outcomes and provide strategy recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of relevant experience developing high-level corporate events and hospitality
- Exceptional client service and interaction skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Budget planning proficiency
- Comfort in a client-facing role and ability to partner with the client
- Project management experience
- Experience building and delivering presentations
- Ability to travel frequently, both weekdays and weekends
