Verify product quality using various measuring and testing instruments
Accurately completes associated documentation
Performs machine set-up per process and product specifications
Loads material onto machines per work instructions
Process wire through various equipment
Maintain product dimensional requirements per documentation
Maintain product traceability of wire as it moves through processes
Identify product non-conformances and contain material per quality system
Maintain an efficient, organized and safe work environment
Perform preventive maintenance on various processes
Maintaining a working supply of process chemicals used in production processes
Complies with complaint handling process

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred or equivalency of education and experience
Prior manufacturing experience a plus
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively and clearly communicate one-on-one or small group situations
Ability to work effectively in a team; team player
Ability to perform within standards of quality work; must be quality driven
Ability to properly and effectively utilize gauging and testing instruments
Must be detailed oriented
Ability to inspect, measure and log accurate results
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft office, data entry into manufacturing software)
