Responsible for key month-end close deliverables, including journal entry preparation, submission for consolidation, account reconciliations, and variance to forecast analysis.
Work collaboratively with various departments and international accounting teams to collect information for corporate forecasts and reporting workstreams.
Assist in finance transformation initiatives and drive process improvement in the financial reporting process.
Assist in preparation and analysis of the Company’s statement of cash flows.
Coordinate key audit deliverables for financial reporting with internal and external auditors to ensure Company compliance with SOX standards.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports (10-Q and 10- K) and current reports (8-K) where needed.
Work with various personnel and departments to collect relevant information.
Monitor the development and applicability of emerging accounting standards by the SEC and FASB.
Assist with technical accounting research and documentation of policies and procedures.
Prepare quarterly segment allocation analysis for P&L and review with management.
Assist with the analysis of global transactions required to eliminate intercompany profit in inventory (PII).
Assist in the training and coaching of the Company’s rotating finance development resources.
Perform ad hoc requests for the corporate accounting and SEC team projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of accounting, auditing, or financial reporting experience (public accounting and/or industry)
Highly proficient in understanding of US GAAP
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
