About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Troubleshoots/repairs and adjusts pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, mechanical equipment and components
  • Conducts and documents tests on systems and equipment to determine compliance, reliability and to identify potential problem areas
  • Installs hardware and software upgrades to process or support equipment as part of projects
  • Performs as a member of a team to design, fabricate, assemble, operate and test systems and equipment to insure quality and reliability
  • Performs preventive maintenance on plant equipment
  • Supports company goals, objectives, policies, procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations
  • Works independently to complete work assignments with minimal supervision
  • Establishes and maintains a safe work environment for all employees

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Forklift operator license or ability to achieve license
  • Three to Five years’ experience in a related field
  • Experience with PLC (programmable logic controller)
  • Experience working with equipment such as CNC, robotic pick and place, injection mold and compression mold a plus
  • Machine shop experience a plus
