About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manufacture products using detailed instructions in full compliance with all FDA regulations and ISO & Quality requirements, in conjunction with all internal policies.
  • Interpret customer requirements and document/communicate findings as needed.
  • Process customer material and internally produced products in compliance with established quality standards and instructions.
  • Interact (extensively) with production software for all aspects of record-keeping, job assignments and material information.
  • Participate in Lean process improvement activities including idea generation, root-cause analysis and solution implementation.
  • Responsibilities could include leading Lean manufacturing project teams.
  • Maintain the work-center in accordance with established 5S principles.
  • Develop skills and knowledge required of position through training.
  • Interact with co-workers, employees in other departments, managers, and support engineers as needed.
  • Proactively seek additional tasks as conditions warrant.
  • Comply by all standard SOP and Safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager (cross departmental activities can apply).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Two (2) or more years of related experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Able to perform accurate measurements, in some cases using a microscope
  • Computer literate
  • Willing and able to follow company procedures and quality system regulation
  • Read, write and speak in fluent English
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have a high level of professionalism
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs (15 percent of the time)
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime required, at times.
