About the role
- Actively engage with a targeted customer group based on product or regional focus, driving ongoing sales relationships.
- Initiate and cultivate customer contacts to manage and close deals effectively.
- Effectively identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell by product area and create compelling quotes.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts that align with customer needs and business objectives.
- Deliver exceptional post-sales service and maintain agreed service levels for owned accounts.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using CRM software.
- Input to account planning and collaborate with field sales team and distributor partners as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
- Conduct virtual product demonstrations and provide in-depth product knowledge to potential clients.
- Foster and maintain deep relationships internally with outside sales representatives and externally with customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related area.
- 0-5+ years of selling experience.
- Proven track record of sales experience preferred.
- Sales experience within medical product/services is a plus.
- Experience sales hunting/cold calling is preferred.
- Experience independently managing a dedicated customer base.
- Experienced in the use of virtual/digital/remote sales techniques and with digital working methods.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies.
- Experience working with CRM tools & MS Office applications.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Must be located in the Charlotte Metro, NC area.
