About the role

  • Implement overall preventive and predictive maintenance programs for a diverse chemical manufacturing site
  • Oversee day-to-day activities involving maintenance of building/facility, plant equipment, security, and overall facility appearance
  • Maximize machine uptime through TPM, continuous improvement, and team development
  • Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards
  • Lead the EHS Mission, Vision, and Strategy to ensure compliance, program development, implementation, and sustainability
  • Manage, coordinate, and prioritize long-range facility and equipment planning
  • Conduct needs assessment for training within the department and design training programs
  • Prepare and manage the yearly budget for the function
  • Standardize, communicate EHS systems, and engage employees in evaluating EHS systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in specified discipline OR 15+ years Maintenance Management within an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Ten to fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in a management capacity within a chemical processing and manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of machine/computer programming including PLC Ladder logic
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and use, including TPM, 5S, Poka-Yoke, and KPIs
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues in fill/pack equipment as well as printing expertise.
  • EHS certifications and/or trainings.
