About the role
- Manage the end ‑ to ‑ end planning and delivery of major corporate and clinical events, including customer programs, national sales meetings, incentive meetings and large user conferences
- Translate business objectives into event concepts, agendas, and experience designs that engage targeted audiences and elevate the Dentsply Sirona brand
- Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments for all assigned programs
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal partners, guiding them through event strategy, options, and best practices
- Collaborate with global teams to support consistency across regions while tailoring experiences to local needs
- Oversee venue sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor selection (A/V, production, décor, catering, transportation, security, registration, housing, etc.) for annual national sales meeting, incentive meeting and DS World customer conference
- Develop comprehensive event documentation, including run ‑ of ‑ show, production schedules, staffing plans, and briefing materials
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Communications, Clinical Education, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment on content, messaging, and attendee experience
- Manage on ‑ site operations, providing leadership to staff, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure flawless execution
- Own event budgets from forecasting through final reconciliation; ensure responsible cost management and ROI reporting
- Negotiate and oversee vendor contracts and performance, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and compliance with company policies
- Evaluate cost ‑ saving opportunities and implement process efficiencies across the events portfolio
- Ensure event activities comply with all applicable regulatory, legal, and industry standards
- Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, templates, and standard operating procedures related to event planning
- Maintain accurate data and reporting for internal systems, including attendee management, budgets, and post-event analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in corporate event planning, preferably within a global, matrixed organization or regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or technology)
- Demonstrated experience managing large ‑ scale, multi ‑ day events with complex logistics and VIP stakeholders
- Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; comfortable interfacing with senior executives and cross ‑ functional teams
- Proven budget management and vendor negotiation experience
- Ability to travel 10-20% depending on event calendar
