About the role
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the R&D team for polymer-based restorative materials
- Develop the product development strategy together with the platform teams for filling materials, adhesives and cements
- Define and track milestones for new product development, documentation and reporting
- Responsibility for budget and resource allocation
- Represent Dentsply Sirona at dental and related scientific conferences
- Provide technical support to Supply Chain, Quality & Regulatory regarding polymer-based restorative products
Requirements
- University degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, preferably with a PhD
- Several years of professional experience and ideally experience leading a team
- Experience developing formulated medical devices
- Preferably experience with adhesives, composites, luting (cementation) materials or similar restorative products
- Understanding of and experience working in a regulated environment, preferably in medical devices
- Ideally familiar with relevant standards, including ISO 13485
- Goal- and solution-oriented
- Innovative and creative
- Assertiveness and excellent communication skills in German and English
