About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advising domestic and international clients on all aspects and phases of restructuring and insolvency, with a particular focus on self-administration (Eigenverwaltung)
  • Handling demanding and varied tasks with a high degree of responsibility and close client contact
  • Advising companies, business owners, clients and creditors on restructuring matters
  • Drafting contracts
  • Advising on corporate transactions, especially distressed M&A
  • Establishing processes in close cooperation with our clients, including on-site at the company where required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two state examinations with above-average results
  • Experience in the described practice area, e.g., gained during the legal clerkship (Referendariat)
  • Business-fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Strong enthusiasm for business and financial matters
  • Highly developed ability to pursue creative and compromise-oriented solutions
  • Enjoys teamwork and taking individual responsibility
  • Committed and proactive personality
