About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advising domestic and international clients in all areas and stages of restructuring and insolvency, with particular emphasis on self-administration (Eigenverwaltung)
  • Handling demanding and varied tasks with a high degree of personal responsibility and close client contact
  • Advising companies, business owners, clients and creditors on restructuring cases
  • Drafting contracts
  • Advising on corporate transactions, especially distressed M&A
  • Establishing processes in close cooperation with our clients, sometimes on-site at the company

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two state examinations (First and Second State Exams) with above-average results
  • Experience in the described field of work, e.g., during the legal clerkship (Referendariat)
  • Business-fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Strong interest in business and financial matters
  • Highly developed ability to devise creative and compromise-oriented solutions
  • Enjoys teamwork and taking responsibility
  • Committed, proactive personality
