About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Banking & Finance team in Melbourne, full time
- Work closely with the Partner and other lawyers on a broad range of banking and finance matters
- Assist on transactions acting for Australia’s major lenders
- Service over 20 bank panels, including all four major Australian banks
- Gain hands-on experience involving drafting, due diligence, transaction support, and client liaison
- Be supported in professional development and encouraged to build skills and confidence as you progress your legal career
Requirements
What you’ll need- A recent Law Graduate or junior solicitor (0–2 years’ PAE)
- Strong academic record
- Genuine interest in banking and finance law
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Previous experience in banking and finance, commercial law, or within a reputable firm will be highly regarded and is preferable.
