About the role

  • Manage the daily/weekly/monthly agendas and arrange new meetings and appointments
  • Make travel arrangements
  • Answer phone calls and redirect them when necessary
  • Draft and format documents (Word and PowerPoint), perform a few translations
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos and forms
  • Open legal matters, collect AML related documents, prepare case files and provide electronic submissions
  • Hand-deliver documents to court when required
  • Create expense reports
  • Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by providing timely reminders
  • Provide support with the monitoring of trial deadlines
  • Archive documents
  • Update case record memories and inventories of contact details
  • Conduct thorough documentary research
  • Provide support with the compilation of timesheets

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Legal Secretary within an international Law Firm
  • Proficiency in English (level C1 is required)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Familiarity with Quadra and PCT electronic filing softwares
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques
  • High time management capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
