Support the Head of Tax in managing the firm’s tax operations across multiple jurisdictions in Europe.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of income sourcing policies.
Coordinate with external advisors and local teams on partner tax compliance and audits.
Monitor partner tax payments and ensure timely filings.
Support the implementation and documentation of transfer pricing policies.
Assist with VAT and withholding tax queries from local offices.
Ensure compliance with Mandatory Disclosure Rules.
Provide input on mobility-related tax issues and support tax planning and risk mitigation efforts.
Assist in training local and European finance teams on tax-related matters.
Maintain documentation and records to support compliance and audit readiness in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist in tax-related data maintenance in partner capital and current accounts.
Support the implementation of partner distribution policies and payment monitoring.
Provide data and analysis to support reporting to Management and relevant committees.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax; professional qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CTA) preferred.
At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a multinational or professional services environment.
Solid understanding of international taxation aspects (including PE, WHT, avoiding double taxation, profits allocation, specificity of tax-transparent and hybrid entities).
Experience in international/multi-country income taxes compliance of individuals would be an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with ERP systems and tax software is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
