About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help us build the insurance experience of the future. As our **Head of Data & Analytics (all genders)**, you will lead getolo's Data & Analytics function and maximize business impact by turning data into better decisions, measurable growth and strategic competitive advantage. Reporting to the CEO, you will own getolo's Data & Analytics strategy, ensuring that data becomes a core enabler of our ambitious growth plans.

  • - Own the company-wide Data & Analytics strategy with a clear focus on business value and commercial impact.
  • - Identify high-value business opportunities and translate them into actionable analytics initiatives.
  • - Partner closely with the executive team to support strategic decision-making and company growth.
  • - Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives from problem identification through implementation.
  • - Ensure Data is a key enabler for achieving getolo's growth ambitions.
  • Business Analytics & BI
  • - Define and prioritize the Business Analytics roadmap based on business impact.
  • - Establish pragmatic reporting standards, KPI definitions and analytics best practices.
  • - Continuously improve the company's reporting landscape to increase transparency, speed and trust in data.
  • - Mentor and align embedded Business Analysts across Marketing, Sales and Operations without direct disciplinary responsibility.

  • - Develop the analytics strategy for customer acquisition and growth - in close collaboration with Marketing

  • - Work closely with Marketing, Product and Country teams to maximize growth efficiency.

  • - Provide strategic direction for the Data Platform together with the Data Platform Team Lead.
  • - Prioritize platform investments based on business value and company priorities.
  • - Ensure the platform enables fast, reliable and scalable analytics.
  • - Support the evolution of the current data architecture towards future business needs.
  • - Coach and support the Data Platform Team Lead while enabling the team to operate effectively.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
  • - Act as the central point of alignment across Analytics, Business Intelligence and Data Platform.
  • - Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all business functions.
  • - Drive alignment between business priorities, analytics initiatives and platform development.
  • - Promote a pragmatic, execution-focused and outcome-oriented data culture.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must Haves
  • - 7+ years of experience in Data, BI or Analytics leadership roles.
  • - Strong understanding of modern analytics architectures and data platforms.
  • - Proven experience building business-focused analytics organizations.
  • - Deep expertise in marketing analytics, attribution and digital growth.
  • - Experience with Marketing Mix Modelling, incrementality testing or similar measurement approaches.
  • - Excellent SQL skills and strong analytical thinking.
  • - Experience working closely with executive leadership.
  • - Ability to translate business problems into scalable analytical solutions.
  • - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • - Experience driving cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • - Passion for turning data into measurable business outcomes.
  • - Execution mindset with a strong bias towards action with a proven ability to move quickly from problem identification to implementation.
  • - Comfortable making pragmatic decisions despite incomplete information.
  • - Full professional written and spoken fluency in English; German is a plus.
