About the role

  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the financial statements for entities within the assigned scope
  • Prepare reports required for VAT filings in close collaboration with local accounting firms
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and tax consultants for entities within the scope
  • Monthly close
  • Calculate and record monthly closing entries (payroll, depreciation, accruals, FX, CAPEX, etc.)
  • Perform regular balance sheet reviews, reconcile accounts, and contribute to process improvements
  • Conduct monthly P&L reviews in collaboration with the AP team to correct discrepancies and resolve outstanding items
  • Reconcile and clear various account types (general ledger, payables, intercompany, etc.)
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including cash flow and assets
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures
  • Participate in the implementation of new tools

Requirements

  • You have at least 4 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably at an audit/accounting firm or in a structured company
  • You hold a master's-level degree in accounting or finance (DSCG, CCA, or equivalent)
  • You have strong knowledge of French accounting standards (FR GAAP) and solid analytical skills
  • You demonstrate a high level of autonomy and sense of responsibility, and are comfortable managing a strategic, high-stakes scope (US market, primary revenue contributor)
  • You are fully proficient in both English and French (minimum C1 level for both languages)
