About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the financial statements for entities within the assigned scope
Prepare reports required for VAT filings in close collaboration with local accounting firms
Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and tax consultants for entities within the scope
Monthly close
Calculate and record monthly closing entries (payroll, depreciation, accruals, FX, CAPEX, etc.)
Perform regular balance sheet reviews, reconcile accounts, and contribute to process improvements
Conduct monthly P&L reviews in collaboration with the AP team to correct discrepancies and resolve outstanding items
Reconcile and clear various account types (general ledger, payables, intercompany, etc.)
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including cash flow and assets
Ensure compliance with internal procedures
Participate in the implementation of new tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have at least 4 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably at an audit/accounting firm or in a structured company
You hold a master's-level degree in accounting or finance (DSCG, CCA, or equivalent)
You have strong knowledge of French accounting standards (FR GAAP) and solid analytical skills
You demonstrate a high level of autonomy and sense of responsibility, and are comfortable managing a strategic, high-stakes scope (US market, primary revenue contributor)
You are fully proficient in both English and French (minimum C1 level for both languages)
