About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Calculate production, service and/or goods costs;
- Analyze variances between actual, standard and budgeted costs;
- Prepare margin reports by product, customer, channel or business unit;
- Control cost structure (fixed, variable, direct and indirect);
- Perform monthly cost closing and related accounting reconciliations;
- Support physical inventory processes and inventory valuation;
- Analyze pricing and profitability;
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains;
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes;
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards;
- Support internal and external audits;
- Interact with Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Sales and Controllership areas.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields;
- Solid experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing or complex operations;
- Experience with absorption costing and/or variable (direct) costing;
- Knowledge of industrial or operational cost determination and analysis;
- Pricing and margin analysis;
- Inventory control and valuation;
- Advanced Excel;
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, TOTVS or similar).
