About the role

  • Management of a portfolio of tax litigation cases in the judiciary, including drafting pleadings, monitoring proceedings and defining defense strategies;
  • Strategic work in tax advisory and litigation, including analysis of legislation, preparation of legal opinions, memoranda and opinions on direct and indirect taxes;
  • Advisory on tax planning, corporate restructurings and complex transactions, ensuring compliance with tax rules and regulations;
  • Review and drafting of contracts with a focus on tax implications and risk mitigation;
  • Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and proposing preventive and corrective measures;
  • Technical review of work prepared by junior and mid-level attorneys, ensuring quality and alignment with the firm’s guidelines.

Requirements

  • Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent);
  • Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written);
  • Solid experience in tax advisory and litigation;
  • In-depth knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, as well as tax planning;
  • Experience preparing legal opinions, court pleadings and analyzing contracts from a tax perspective.
