About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Designing the Mechanical PCB model in close co-operation with the PCB Layouters and the mechanical team
  • Designing custom components for the Hearing Instrument
  • Working closely with production facilities and supporting in solving issues related to PCB assembly manufacturing
  • Taking part in optimization of manufacturing processes and tolerances
  • Understanding and expanding the knowledge within the PCB material properties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in mechanical engineering or similar
  • Experience in mechanical development and design within medical- or small consumer electronic devices
  • Mechanical design and hardware integration of electronics design (PCB, connectors, batteries, radios etc.)
  • Robust design (Tolerance stack-up, Design For Manufacturing DFM, Design For Assembly DFA)
  • Proficiency in PTC Creo 3D CAD, GPS and 2D specification
  • Interest in working with miniaturization
