About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with leaders to develop and implement strategic people initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and talent development.
- Support workforce planning, organisational change, succession planning, and restructuring activities.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and People & Culture teams to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Facilitate HR training and support managers in navigating employment legislation and HR best practice.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of HR generalist experience, including 2+ years in an HR Business Partner or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
- Strong organisational skills and experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience within a retail, customer service, healthcare, or multi-site environment will be highly regarded.
