About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop a team of around 15 highly skilled development engineers.
Define and promote technology and competence development within your area.
Drive the technology roadmap and contribute to long-term development across Device HW.
Support transformation and continuous improvement together with peers, agile teams, and leadership colleagues.
Contribute actively to the line-management leadership team and to the group’s strategic development.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A M.Sc. or B.Sc. in electronics engineering.
Extensive design experience in medical devices, consumer electronics, or similar.
Several years of experience developing people — you know how to set direction, build trust, and inspire others to follow because they believe in the purpose, not because they have to.
A track record of guiding people and teams through change and transformation.
Experience from an agile organization is an advantage — but what matters most is that you’re motivated by helping people succeed in agile teams.
As a leader, you master the fine art of developing highly specialized, dedicated employees.
You are well organized, communicate with clarity, and build productive relationships naturally — not only within the HW group, but across the whole organization.
