About the role

  • Represent Procurement in product development projects and commercial programs.
  • Ensure supplier readiness to meet cost, quality, capability, and delivery targets at launch.
  • Drive procurement project plans, risk management, milestones, and decision-making.
  • Secure alignment with Strategic Procurement on technology roadmaps and category strategies.
  • Coordinate with Project Purchasing to ensure component availability and maturity at each phase gate.
  • Lead cross-functional issue resolution with internal stakeholders and suppliers to mitigate project risk.
  • Promote early supplier involvement and strong collaboration with R&D.
  • Support cost-out and value engineering activities during development.

Requirements

  • a relevant technical, supply chain, or commercial background with strong results;
  • 3+ years of experience in project management e.g. procurement, NPI or sourcing (preferably in medical devices, electronics, or other regulated industries);
  • strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
  • experience collaborating in cross-functional and international environments;
  • solid understanding of supplier qualification, sourcing strategies, and risk management;
  • structured, proactive work style with focus on delivery and problem-solving;
  • fluent English — written and spoken.
