About the role
- Develop and implement category strategies with clear objectives
- Initiate and drive continuous cost-reduction initiatives
- Negotiate agreements and build strong relationships
- Drive supplier segmentation, SRM, consolidation, and performance follow-up
- Ensure contract management and compliance
- Contribute to process improvements
- Work closely with R&D, other category managers, and Procurement Project Leads
Requirements
- Technical degree (e.g., in engineering) or degree in supply chain or procurement
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management
- Strong negotiation skills
- International experience
- Technical understanding and curiosity
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and documentation (ISO 13485/MDR/MDSAP is a plus)
- Fluent in English
