About the role
- Lead and support a team of Finance Business Partners and Data Analysts to help managers make well-informed and data driven decisions
- Provide financial and commercial insight and recommendations to senior leadership, sales managers and support function managers
- Drive forward and develop the commercial reporting capabilities and insights using a variety of tools including Google Looker
- Evaluate and enhance financial systems and tools to improve reporting, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes aligned with strategic goals
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- Establish, document, and monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Support the managers in other accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliation and OnePlan
Requirements
- Be a fully Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Possess strong technical knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and UK tax regulations
- Proven track record of managing audits and improving financial processes
- Operate effectively within a complex organisational structure, balancing influence with adherence to governance and compliance frameworks
