About the role

  • Analysis, processing and modeling of large datasets from energy-sector systems
  • Development, operation and optimization of ETL processes (e.g., from SAP and non‑SAP sources)
  • Design and further development of SAP BW data models, queries and reports
  • Application of data science methods for analysis, forecasting and optimization of energy-sector processes
  • Ensuring data quality, data consistency and performance
  • Advising business units and clients on data-driven solutions
  • Documentation of data models, processes and analysis results
  • Participation in projects from requirements analysis through to go-live

Requirements

  • Strong teamwork skills, customer orientation and the ability to work independently and results-oriented
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications in the field of Data Science
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA BW
  • Excellent knowledge of ETL processes and data integration
  • Experience with databases (e.g., HANA, SQL)
  • Knowledge of data science methods, statistics or machine learning is a plus
  • Experience in IT projects, particularly SAP S/4HANA transformation projects
  • Knowledge of energy-sector processes is an advantage
  • Strong methodological skills in project management, analysis, design and consulting
  • Driver's license (Class B)
