About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual global close processes across all entities and currencies
Own technical accounting research and application for revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, business combinations, and foreign currency translation
Manage and develop accounting managers, senior accountants, and staff accountants
Oversee consolidation of international subsidiaries, intercompany eliminations, transfer pricing coordination, and multi-currency reporting
Manage the external audit process and relationship with the independent audit firm
Partner with FP&A on actuals, forecasts, and management reporting
Drive process improvement and automation across the record-to-report cycle
Oversee equity compensation accounting and administration, including RSU, option accounting, reporting, and 409A valuation oversight
Review technical accounting memos and documentation for judgmental positions
Support M&A due diligence and integration, treasury and banking relationships, and financial due diligence requests
Ensure compliance with local statutory reporting and tax requirements across international jurisdictions
Champion automation, AI-enabled solutions, and emerging technologies in accounting operations
Leverage offshore and outsourced resources while maintaining controls and quality standards
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team
Oversee payroll operations, tax compliance, general ledger tie-outs, and coordination with HR/People
Oversee accounts payable, treasury, cash management, banking relationships, cash forecasting, and disbursement controls

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA strongly preferred
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and industry experience
SaaS or software industry experience strongly preferred
Experience in a multi-entity, international organization
Experience with multi-currency consolidation and foreign subsidiary reporting
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Hands-on experience applying ASC 606 and other complex technical accounting standards
Proven people-management experience building and developing high-performing accounting teams
Strong systems aptitude
Experience with modern ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Workday, or Oracle is a plus
Experience with close management or automation tools is a plus
Excellent communication skills for translating complex accounting matters to non-accounting stakeholders and senior leadership
High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Authorization to work lawfully in the United States
Must not require current or future sponsorship to legally work in the United States
