About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Delta Medical Systems' quality policy through compliance with quality management system documentation
- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers to drive engagement and loyalty
- Under senior mentor guidance, manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and closing deals
- Shadow senior team members during client meetings and presentations
- Develop product knowledge through training, mentorship, and internal resources
- Monitor and manage individual deal-related costs with mentor assistance to align with profitability targets
- Assess customer needs and position relevant solutions across the product portfolio
- Maintain post-sale communication to support customer satisfaction, retention, and future business opportunities
- Maintain accurate activity and progress records in CRM systems
- Comply with customer site requirements, which may include certain vaccinations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years prior sales experience required
- Strong interest in outside sales and healthcare technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally in a sales career
- Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative
- Ability to travel frequently, including driving or flying to various locations
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods while driving, flying, or working at a desk in the home office
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers, phones, and other office equipment
- Continuous visual acuity for documents, computer screens, presentations, client needs, and product displays
- Ability to hear and understand conversations over the phone and in person
- Strong verbal communication skills for phone conversations, presentations, and in-person meetings
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects typically up to 25 pounds
- Ability to comply with customer site requirements, which may include certain vaccinations
