About the role
- Build cutting-edge data solutions primarily on BigQuery, Databricks and Snowflake for large-scale customers
- Design and implement cloud-scalable, real-time, high-performance data platforms and pipelines
- Introduce automations and develop low-code/no-code platforms to accelerate delivery
- Hide engineering complexity while enabling customers to deliver fast
- Lead and manage a team (team lead responsibilities) and perform hands-on engineering tasks
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet requirements
Requirements
- 3-5 years hands-on experience building cloud-scalable, real-time and high-performance Data Solutions in a capacity of a team leader
- Team leader experience
- Strong programming skills with Python and/or Scala (Java a plus)
- Solid engineering foundations (good coding practices, good architectural design skills)
- Proven experience and in-depth knowledge with one or more of: BigQuery (big advantage), Databricks, Snowflake
- Certifications in cloud/data platforms desired
- Proven experience building data pipelines, preferably with Airflow, DBT, Spark
- Experience with ETL tools like Rivery, Fivetran, Talend or others
- Solid cloud development experience in one or more cloud providers (certifications desired)
- Advanced SQL knowledge and capabilities
- Experience or knowledge in AI/GenAI/ML/MLOps – advantage
- Team player with positive attitude
