About the role
- Provide high level design and technical solutions for the Data Engineering team.
- Work on multiple tasks effectively and deliver data model design, analytics-focused data warehousing, and data integration/management leveraging cloud and other technologies to add advanced capabilities and improve application efficiency.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Has at least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Proven ability to design and implement advanced data transformation routines.
- Strong proficiency in Python (including pandas and PySpark).
- Advanced SQL skills for querying, diagnostics, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with: Apache Airflow, AWS S3 and Redshift, Oracle, Databricks, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines and workflows
- Solid understanding of data warehousing fundamentals and dimensional modeling.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and drive deliverables independently.
- Preferred Skills & Experience: Cloud platform experience: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Next.js, Remix, Svelte, Astro, or other React-based tools.
- Experience with IaC: Terraform on GCP, or Terraform on other cloud providers, AWS CDK, Pulumi, Terraform CDK, ARM Templates, Bicep
- Containerization experience: Docker, Podman, Kubernetes
- Familiarity working on MacOS or Linux environments
- GenAI development or LLM experience (valuable but not mandatory)
