About the role
- Work alongside clients to help them make decisions and implement solutions based on "Heart of the Business" strategy development.
- Assist in determining the requirements of clients’ projects and programs by defining, analyzing, and managing requirements.
- Support clients in their transformation journey by evaluating existing systems or new developments and identifying systems requirements.
- Manage the gathering and assessing of technical requirements to be translated into functional design documents.
- Recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
- Oversee the preparation of communications and make presentations to stakeholders on opportunities and constraints of processes and systems.
- Coordinate resource assignments, prioritize projects, and monitor progress.
- Develop and support change management plans and oversee the development of technical documentation and training materials.
- Manage projects by defining roles and responsibilities of project members and maintaining the overall project plan and timelines.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a business or finance discipline with a well ranked institution and/or currently enrolled in a MBA program.
- Must be Epic certified.
- Adaptability and flexibility with respect to changing end-user business needs.
- Critical thinking and willingness to see things in an open-minded way and examine an idea or concept from as many angles as possible.
- Dependability and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure that they are completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
- Initiative to recognize assignments or tasks that need to be completed.
- Interpersonal skills, particularly within the user group with which they will work to facilitate decisions and find solutions even amidst disagreeing stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and subject matter experts.
- Willingness to learn new software and systems.
- Listening attentively to ensure that the intended message has been accurately received.
- Relationship building to gain trust and establish effective relationships with vendor and stakeholders.
- Resilience to persevere in difficult situations and overcome obstacles.
