About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Preparing complex drawings of structures and equipment systems
Drafting project and mechanical system drawings derived from layouts and sketches
Establishing and following technical specifications to prepare drawings and draft designs
Consulting with engineers regarding model accuracy and coordinate with shop team for material deliveries to job-sites
Determining material needs, performing necessary calculations, and tracking all material quantities

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-7 years experience with AutoCAD, preferably structural concrete drawings
Demonstrated ability to read and understand structural drawings
Strong communication skills, able to correspond well with Engineers and Clients
Able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor, SolidWorks, BIM/Revit, and MS Office Suite may be given preference
