About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead complex heavy civil construction projects from planning through execution
- Partner closely with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Lead project safety and quality initiatives while mentoring field teams
- Manage schedules, budgets, forecasting, and project P&L
- Oversee contracts, buyouts, subcontractors, and procurement
- Coordinate work plans, submittals, and equipment needs
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide leadership to Project Engineers, Field Managers, Superintendents, and crews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience
- Prime contracting experience preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience managing projects ranging from $1M–$10M+
- Background in bridge work, post-tensioning, structural concrete, strengthening, or related specialty construction
- Strong working knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project or Primavera P6, Procore and related project management tools
