About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead complex heavy civil construction projects from planning through execution
Partner closely with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Lead project safety and quality initiatives while mentoring field teams
Manage schedules, budgets, forecasting, and project P&L
Oversee contracts, buyouts, subcontractors, and procurement
Coordinate work plans, submittals, and equipment needs
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Provide leadership to Project Engineers, Field Managers, Superintendents, and crews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
7+ years of heavy civil construction experience
Prime contracting experience preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience managing projects ranging from $1M–$10M+
Background in bridge work, post-tensioning, structural concrete, strengthening, or related specialty construction
Strong working knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project or Primavera P6, Procore and related project management tools
