About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage day-to-day general ledger operations and accounting activities
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, SOX controls, and external audits
Integrate general ledger accounting operations with global processes
Share ownership of the full-cycle general ledger financial close process
Review journal entries and account reconciliations for complete and accurate financials
Drive process improvement and automation initiatives
Refine monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
Develop accounting policies and standard operating procedures
Conduct monthly variance analysis in partnership with FP&A and Financial Reporting
Report to the International Controller
Partner with cross-functional leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive public company accounting experience within a relevant industry
Proven experience managing and developing staff
Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB standards, and SOX internal controls
Proven track record of managing full-cycle financial close processes
Experience maintaining robust accounting operations
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification, or equivalent professional experience
Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite (nice to have)
